Information Technology Unit

The ICT department was initiated in 1999 to manage the process of implementation of ICT in our schools. The staff consists of an Information Systems Manager, a Network Administrator, a software Developer, a Website Adminstrator, a senior IT officer and five IT technicians are committed to providing quality service to the schools, libraries and offices of the Ministry of Education. Our services includes:

SOFTWARE / WEB DEVELOPMENT

The IT Unit creates customized software solutions for use within the department of Education and associated departments. These have been used to facilitate the registration process for scholarships and the grading of Minimum Standards examinations.

TRAINING

The IT Unit engages in the training of stakeholders in any required software or web based platforms.
