The Saint Lucia Council For Technical & Vocational Education & Training (SLCTVET) is hosting its 3rd Career Fair sponsored in conjunction with the Department of Education, Department of Economic Development and National Authorising Office, (NAO). The event is slated for November 29th and 30th, 2023 and is to be held at the Constitution Park from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
The first Career Fair was held in May 2022 at the Constitution Park and following the Phillip Marcellin grounds in October of that same year.
The objective of the Career Fair is to provide a mechanism to ensure adequate provision of human resources for managing and delivering quality services, under the umbrella of Ministry of Education and the TVET Council. To facilitate the exertion, career guidance services are explored to members of the workforce.
The planned target is to upkeep the events annually, engaging the workforce and unemployed individuals an opportunity to obtain certification, by speaking with our industry experts, open avenues for employment, be an entrepreneur, connect socially and to grow professionally.
