The Taiwan ICT in Education Project recently conducted a 3 day workshop for educational administrators focusing on learning analytics and how it can be harnessed to improve educational products and processes. A total of 35 administrators participated in the program, a representation from all schools island wide.
The move to distributed learning environments has had some interesting side effects on education and one of these is the availability of valuable data that can guide decision making in instructional and administrative processes. Participants had opportunities to curate, install and use analytics tools embedded in various VLEs, along with third party tools.
The workshop concluded with a closing ceremony at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College Wednesday 11th May 2022.
